Game crashing after update

Description of Issue - Marathon was working for me before the latest update. Since updating, the game now crashes in-match on all maps. This is not limited to one map or one graphics setting. I changed graphics/settings and the issue still happens. The crashes can happen several times within a single match/session. Based on repeated crash reports, the exception shown is EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT. The crash happens after loading into the match/world, not just at startup. This appears to be a regression introduced by the latest update.
Rough Date and Time of issue - Started after the latest update on March 17, 2026, and has continued since then.

If you want the best wording for a forum post, I’d use “multiple times in a single play session” unless you are 100% sure the game literally crashes, reopens, and crashes again within one uninterrupted match instance. I also have the crash folders if you would like them

Exact same issue - After looking at similar posts I think its recent patch related and also related to intel CPU's but that's just a guess. I have an Intel Ultra 9 285k CPU and have this problem.
I have an Intel ultra 7 and have the same problem. It may be the common factor. Let's hope it gets fixed soon.

I have an ultra 7 aswell - Crashes vary from at the start of matches to half way through matches.
Happens every raid without fail - going to stop playing the game if its not fixed soon
Try update the Intel Management Engine, as this seems to fix the issue for some people here in the forums.
Same issue. Game is currently unplayable since this crash effectively wastes the kit used for the run. After crash to desktop and re-joining, the game crashes again. In one match the game crashed four times. Each time I was able to restart the game, rejoin the match, only to crash again until I finally rejoined to see that another player killed me while I was re-loading. It does not seem tied to the prior map crash and occurred even if I never used the map. I have an Intel ultra chip here like many others are reporting (Intel Core Ultra 7 265K). Intel ME update did not fix.
i have intel ultra 7 and same problem cant even play, i did everything i can find, i just unistall windows and install only nvidia drivers, steam and marathon game still crash at start of a game ...

i just update my bios in F19 and the game works now !!!
