Hard crashing randomly
Hello Bungie Support Team,
I am experiencing frequent, random crashes while playing Marathon on PC. I had no issues during the server slam and at launch. Now it's constant. It load me into a game, but crashes before I can even see the map. It's crashed on me as I start to move once loaded and it's crashed on me even in the settings menu. The game closes suddenly without warning or error.
PC Specifications (key components):
-
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 285K
-
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080
-
RAM: 192 GB RAM
-
Storage: 2, 2TB M.2
Other games, including Diablo 4, Diablo 2 Remastered, Arc Raiders, and Battlefield 6 run perfectly on my system with high settings. Nothing seems to be overheating or wrong as it's a fairly new PC.
Any help would be appreciated as this has been extremely frustrating.
Thank you for your time and support.

Hello again everyone,
The fix I came up with yesterday was:
Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine.
After that I suggest also:
Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
Then
Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it
You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.
If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.
I've tried all the potential solutions you've mentioned, but still cannot get into a game without it hard crashing. Any further help would be appreciated
ISSUE SOLVED!
