Didn't receive bartered item from armory
- Bungie Account Name - Hello.Darkness#6034,
- Platform - Steam,
- Description of Issue - Bartered a Thoughtwave Lens for the Enhanced Ammo Crate x4 - didn't receive the Enhanced Ammo crates and the Thoughtwave Lens was deducted,
- Rough Date and Time of issue - March 9th 2026, 10:25 - 10:30 pm IST(GMT+05:30),
- Repro steps -
- After a round, looking around in the vault and armory to kit up for the next run
- Noticed a barter trade purchase for Enhanced Ammo Crate x4 for Thoughtwave Lens x1
- I had 2 in my vault before purchase, try to purchase Enhanced Ammo crates to my backpack
- Don't see Enhanced Ammo crates in backpack after purchase, Thoughtwave Lens deducted from vault, have 1 remaining

I could replicate it for a video, if I'm guaranteed the return of the consumed items.
Bump. Because I just had this happen. Kinda crazy they're making you reproduce it just to lose your items. LMAO
But I did, well, I had to. I didn't realize till I was setting up my loadout.
Also weird how it's the exact same salvage and stack of items.

I can confirm we are aware of this issue affecting barter and are currently investigating.
This issue can be caused by executing the "Purchase to Backpack" command on a Barter for a stack of equipment items, while the equipment slot is empty.
In the meantime to workaround this issue, try to use "Purchase to Vault" instead
Same issue, happened to me on a stack of 4 smoke grenades. (Also MIDA)
Same issue happened to me MIDA (10x claymores for 1x ballistic turbine).
