'Connecting to Marathon Servers...' issue
- Bungie Account Name - Dante#6286.
- Platform - Steam.
- Description of Issue - From time to time this issue appears in the middle of match and game have high chances to disconnect me from a match. I have about 40 hours on slam test and had 0 issues with this. Now I can get these annoying issues(which even lead to loot loss because it happened into the middle of AI spawn, and sometimes I cannot even just load into lobby, because for several errors(will update when will get them again).
- Rough Date and Time of issue - 12.03.2026 around 19:35 UTC +3.
- Repro steps - no idea what can affect it, I think it appears closer to the evening.Strange thing that this is something temporarily. Like I can have issues for 2-10 minutes with numerous 'Connecting to Marathon Servers...' messages with some disconnects and without ability to load into main menu or load for a short time and being disconnected again.

How I see this on my side:
I am logged into game, at the lobby I see the 'Connecting to Marathon Servers message, after this high chances that I will get a Weasel error. And after this I can reconnect to lobby again and all mentioned can repeat OR I will get numerous errors, including the 'W' errors, OR without doing nothing game will work normally.
Article about Weasel is not helpful much.While I having issues with Marathon servers - no issues with my internet connections, any web-site can be opened, streams are continue to work without any issues.
What I have tried from my side: clearing DNS cache, checking game structure via Steam, rebooting my Wi-Fi router(I am connected to it not via Wi-Fi). No results. I saw some Reddit articles from players with the same error, someone reported that re-install of Windows helped them.
For now, I continue to read provided articles and checking other possible workarounds.
