Lost all my contacts after making a bungie account
Today i made a bungie account to connect for the twitch drops and i lost all my connection.. all the people i have met during last year and season.. is there anyway to get them back ?

We understand you appear to have lost your contacts after making a Bungie account. When linking your platform account to the Bungie account, did you ensure you were using the correct platform account? What you describe makes it sound as though you perhaps linked a different account to the new Bungie account, so you may wish to verify whether that's the case. It may also be that you set the wrong account as your primary profile.

My twitch and steam account are under the same email. So nothing should have changed because of that ?
where can i change my primary profile ? i have no clue. But i just linked my account here and lost the contacts.. so is there a way to get them back or not ?
So it seems that i linked my twtich account here today.. and it changed my ingame name maybe.. and the ID of my account so by doing that i lost all of my contacts.. is there a way to recover my old id and contact list ?
I was able to change my name back to shepi from sienishepi.. but still i do not have my contacts restored. I have no idea how to achieve that.
If i unlink my twitch account will that help to restore my old id and contact list ?

Apologies for any confusion, we have confirmed what would have caused this.
If you've added friends before linking to your main account, those friends will unfortunately be lost as they are only stored on your previous temporary Bungie account, which would have been overwritten when connecting to the main account. We realize this isn't ideal, and have taken note of your report concerning what you've experienced. Your understanding in this is appreciated.
unfortunately this will not get my understanding in any shape or form... actually makes me even more mad and frustrated.. all the experiences connections and stories with my new Marathon friends are gone.. since we were only friends in marathon not in steam or other platforms. I have gamed all my life over 20 years of online gaming and never have i seen or come across anything like this.. how is this even possible from such a reputable company and with the experience your teams have in making games.. how can this even happen or be miss managed in 2026. this is deeply dissapointing.. and i can allready tell you this will severely limit the ammount i will be playing in season2.. will i ever even meet the same guys again that i got such a good relationship with in Marathon.. i doubt it. Since none of my friends play Marathon those guys were my only connection and the enabled me to have a good team and fun conversations.. now its back to randoms to try my luck again for over 3 months to try and find guys to play with.. What a joke
