Game Bugs? Please help

Fully auto weapons are only functioning as semi-auto for example Bully, M77, Overrun... This has persisted over multiple matches - I can not access my in game text to chat either.

I've tried using a different mouse, resetting my settings, closing the game and re-opening, uninstalling and reinstalling. So now im resorting to this post! Please help me im not sure what happened. The game text-to-chat has persisted since this weekend - I can retoggle it in the settings but when I then go to fire my weapon after one shot it then opens the chat text menu... the semi auto bug has only just started tonight mid match after getting downed in game.

Please help. I love this game! Keep cooking devs@!

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

    For the issue with the text chat, please try the following steps:

    • Press Esc to fully close the chat window.
    • Temporarily unbind Open Text Chat, or move it to an unused key. 
    • If chat still opens when you fire, please capture a short video showing the issue, including whether chat was recently toggled.
    • Also, please share the make and model of your keyboard and mouse.

    For the issue with the weapons firing incorrectly:

    • Please note whether it affects the M77, Bully, Overrun, or other fully automatic weapons.
    • Let us know whether it starts only after being downed, or if it also happens at the start of a match.
    • Compare holding the fire input with rapidly tapping it, and capture a video if the weapon continues firing only one shot at a time.

    Please use your platform's capture button to take the videos. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the links here, and we’ll be glad to take a look.

    During the video making process I found that my open text to chat was also keybound as left click on my mouse! taking that keybind off and leaving it just for primary firing fixed both issues! Thanks bungie! #resolved
