Subject: Request for Manual Review and Reconsideration of VAC Ban – Marathon
Hello Bungie Support Team,
I am writing to formally appeal the VAC ban applied to my account in Marathon. I believe this ban may have been issued incorrectly, as I have never used cheats, hacks, macros, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
The ban came as a complete surprise to me, especially since I had not even played the game for several days before discovering it. I have always tried to play fairly and follow the game's rules, so receiving this ban without understanding the reason behind it has been extremely frustrating.
I previously submitted support tickets regarding this issue, but despite one ticket being marked as solved, my ban remains active and I have not received a clear explanation of the decision.
I respectfully request a thorough manual review of my account and the relevant game logs. If this ban was caused by an error or a false positive, I ask that it be corrected and the restriction removed.
I understand the importance of maintaining fair gameplay, and I fully support legitimate anti-cheat measures. However, I also believe that players who have not violated the rules deserve a fair review of their cases.

Marathon does not issue VAC bans. If you are seeing a ban or restriction specifically in Marathon, then the way to contact our Security team about it is through the Appeal Ban or Restriction Contact Form. If you have already submitted a ticket, you have done all you can, and will need to wait for a response. However, please note that there is no guarantee you will get a response, especially if your ban will be upheld. If several weeks pass with no reply, you can safely assume your ban will remain in place.
Ban appeals are not conducted on the forums.
