Constant severe rubberbanding in every match — NA East, PC, Xfinity
For the past 3 days, Marathon has been effectively unplayable for me because of constant, severe rubberbanding.
Platform: PC
Region: NA East
ISP: Xfinity
Connection: Tested both Ethernet and Wi-Fi
It happens in every single match. I remain connected to the game and receive no error codes or disconnects, but my character constantly gets pulled backward, and movement becomes extremely unstable.
I regularly play several other online multiplayer games on the same PC and connection and have no latency, rubberbanding, or connectivity problems in any of them. The issue is specific to Marathon.
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Tested wired Ethernet
- Tested Wi-Fi
- Restarted network/game
- Tested through Cloudflare WARP to change the network route
None of these changed the behavior.
I have also found other players reporting similar rubberbanding/network issues.
Could you please investigate whether there is a server, routing, peering, or matchmaking-region issue affecting NA East?
