HDR paper white brightness issue
I understand there have been similar posts on this topic but it still doesn't seem to have been addressed from what I can tell. The game appears to tie peak brightness and paper white brightness together with an incredibly unusual ratio which makes HDR borderline unusable and incredibly difficult to see especially on brighter displays. I understand there is no 1 size fits all level, but generally paper white is recommended to be between 150-250nits depending on irl room light levels and personal preference with a general standard of 203 for a peak 1000nit display in a mild-moderately lit room. The game appears to set paper white brightness to half of peak which makes for a significantly reduced dynamic range, more washed out looking image, and major visibility issues in game when trying to look at medium-long distances. My display is certified for 1500nits peak and reports at 1660 in calibration which cause paper white to be **over 800nits** when it should be around 200 or so.
I am still not sure if this is a bug or not but it seems incredibly bizarre that paper white would be tied to peak brightness with that ratio especially so I can only assume this was unintended. I was hoping to see a fix for this or a separate slider implemented because as it stands now HDR is unusable in Marathon due to visibility issues at medium-long range especially.
