Hiding the hands and weapon / ASMR Recording
Hi Bungie and the Marathon team!
I'm an ASMR/environmental video creator, and I'd love to record Marathon's locations as atmospheric videos — different rooms, areas, weather conditions and lighting, without gameplay elements on screen.
Thank you for already giving us the option to hide the HUD! It makes a huge difference for this kind of content.
I was wondering if there's any way to also hide the character's hands and weapon from the first-person view. Maybe through an existing setting, console command, developer option, or configuration file?
I completely understand if a full photo mode/free camera doesn't fit Marathon. I only need a clean first-person view of the environment for recording — no gameplay advantage involved.
I also heard that Perimeter is going to be reworked, and I'd really love to document the current version from as many locations and angles as possible before that happens, just to preserve it as a little piece of Marathon's history.
Marathon has such a fascinating atmosphere and world. I'd love to create a whole series of environmental/ASMR videos documenting it.
If there's currently any way to hide the hands and weapon, I'd be incredibly grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
