Cannot even search for game??

Thought I'd give Marathon a go as I haven't played in ages. I select zone, load out, and the green "search" button is just a spinning ball of death. Can't even search for a game. Further more, the text on the screen is clipping out of boxes. Not very encouraging. Nevermind I guess, I'll go play cyberpunk.
