Known issues with Destroyer key binds deploying shield failure when ads, thrustering when attempting to vault mid-air

1: Destroyer deploying his shield while holding down right click or tapping it just after breaks the deployment. This is probably working somewhat as intended, but needs an input buffer to stop this from occurring so easily by mistake. If you are already holding down right-click before the shield deployment, it should just ignore that input. Maybe a small buffer window where, if you deploy the shield, it will ignore ADS attempt for 0.25 or 0.5 sec while still being able to put it away with q.

2: Maybe thruster needs to be bindable; idk how to fix this aside from this, if the grapple took too much precedence over the thruster, I could see the opposite problem happening too, where one would grapple a ledge instead of thrustering (also bad) .

Similar to the other issue just seems like a small oversight on an otherwise very smooth shell.

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

Please provide the following details to add to your report so that we can investigate:

    • The approximate date and time of when this happened
    • Which issue did you experience: the shield cancelling when aiming, the thruster activating during a mantle, or both?
    • What platform and input method were you using? Please also let us know whether your key binds are default or customized.
    • For the shield issue, were you already holding right-click when deploying the shield, or did you press it immediately afterward? If afterward, how soon?
    • For the thruster issue, were you facing a climbable ledge and pressing the mantle input while airborne?
    • How often does each issue occur?
    • What activity or map were you playing when this happened?
    • Could you share a video showing the issue?

Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. You can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.
