Recon Trifecta Codex Challenge Help and or Clarification
For the Recon Trifecta Mastery Challenge does defeat 3 runners in one activation of pulse mean down or eliminate or both? This is one of the last codex entries I have left and I've noticed previous challenges with variations of defeat down and eliminate have not been 100 percent true for the challenges to track. Meaning I have only downed runners when the requirement said to eliminate them and its still counted. This one has stumped me for months at this point any help would be appreciated. I've seen videos now of people unlocking the challenge while only downing the enemy runners as well as some where they only kill them after their teamates downed them. Ive also seen a little bit of both. I've failed to unlock this now for months even having played multiple games where i most definitely should have met the requirments according to these videos one way or another yet the game saysI still have not. I have the Vidmaster title for petes sake I feel like I shouldnt be having this hard of a time lol. Is it possible i'm bugged? Thanks for your time.

Based off the in-game description, it sounds like players would need to down and fully eliminate 3 runners in a single pulse activation. If this happens and you don't receive credit for the challenge, please upload a clip to YouTube highlighting the issue and we'll be glad to forward this to the developers for review.
Hey I just got confirmation that it is in fact only downs required. I watched a stream from Skarrow9 where he got a trio to let him down them while the recon pulse was active and did not fully eliminate them. Upon exfiling and checking his codex he had completed the challenge and recieved the entry. I know for a fact I have downed 3 runners with the pulse active yet I did not record it so now what should I do? This challenge is clearly broken and after reading through the official Marathon discord server's previous posts about this codex entry I am far from the only one who it is broken and not unlocking for.
Ok I finally at long last just got it done myself and I can confirm it is only downs needed but it needs to be done so unrealistcally fast it just doesnt make sense. I just wanted to leave this here in case someone comes searching in the future. IT IS ONLY DOWNS NEEDED. Good Luck.
