Rook Bug

I exfilled as Rook.  When at the main menu screen again I can switch between Rook and other runners even with overflow.  Additionally, when I switch to a runner its giving me random items in my loadout already and I am not sure where the items are coming from.  It allows me to switch back to Rook even with a loadout and overflow items, also.

    Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

    Please provide the following details to add to your report:

    • The approximate date and time of when this happened
    • The map or mode you played, and whether you successfully exfilled.
    • Whether the issue continued after restarting the game.
    • If you have it, a video showing the sequence from returning from the Rook run through switching shells and back to Rook, including the Run Report and lobby screens.

    1 - It happened on 8/12/26 and was sometime between 9-9:30 am CST.
    2 - Outpost and I exfilled as Rook from guarded exfil in airfield.
    3 - The issue does persist after closing the game and starting it from Steam again.  I have not joined another match since to tell if it persists after that, also.  I will update my post again after another match.
    4 - The following link is an extended video showing me exfilling, the error again, and then I added a cut with a transition to the run report at the end, so you can see it again clearly:

    I am being told by another player this was an intended change to Rook recently.  It use to not allow you to switch to Rook when you had any loadout equipped.  However, someone said that changed and is why this happens now.

    Can you confirm?  Just curious.

    Hi there,

    Yes, the recent change allowing players to switch to Rook while they have a loadout equipped is intentional. Your previous loadout should be preserved and restored when switching back to another shell.

    However, the items being lost after exfil are not expected behavior. We’re aware of this issue and are working on a fix.

    Hi,

    You are welcome.  However, I am confused about what items being lost of which you are referring.  What items did I lose?  Or was that just a general statement about a bug you are aware of but not shown in my video?
