Compiler Skin Not Unlocking

Good afternoon, I’ve completed a compiler run on my Vandal and the skin didn’t unlock for me. Can this be looked into please? My friend had his Recon skin unlock but not me. I have screenshots in the compiler loot room if needed.

    Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

    Please provide the following details to add to your report:

    • Your Platform
    • The approximate date and time of when this happened
    • Did your crew start the Compiler encounter?
    • Was this a fight involving multiple crews or just yours?
    • Did you personally hit the Compiler’s exposed weak spot when it was exposed?
    • Do you have video or screenshots showing those hits?
    • Did you exfil successfully?
    • Did your friends get the skin/Codex from the same run? If so, what are their Bungie IDs?
    • Was the missing reward just the skin, or also Codex progress?

    If you have a video or clip from the encounter, you can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.

    The approximate date and time of when this happened - 01/06/2026 Late PM (BST)
    Did your crew start the Compiler encounter? We did, it was my DNA key.
    Was this a fight involving multiple crews or just yours? Multiple
    Did you personally hit the Compiler’s exposed weak spot when it was exposed? Yes, I made sure I did this.
    Do you have video or screenshots showing those hits? Not the hits no.
    Did you exfil successfully? Yes
    Did your friends get the skin/Codex from the same run? If so, what are their Bungie IDs? They did. Flog2089 is his ID.
    Was the missing reward just the skin, or also Codex progress? Both the skin entry and skin itself didn’t complete.

    Hi again,

    Thank you for your patience.

    This bug has been fixed but unfortunately, we're unable to automatically credit missing Runner Styles. However, if we're able to verify the completion with the information you provided, we can manually credit the missing Style though we're unable to manually complete the Codex challenge for you.

    Information we need to verify:

    • Please confirm: It's the Vandal Runner Style you're missing for defeating the Compiler?
    • If feasible, a Video showing:
      • Your name clearly displayed, either from your perspective or in another player’s video
      • Killing the Compiler
      • Successfully exfilling

    Once we have the above, we'll investigate. Thanks.

    Hello again!

    That sounds amazing! As long as I can wear the style that would be perfect!

    It is indeed the Vandal skin I am missing. I managed a clear with my team, they both got their skins and I didn’t get mine.

    I’m afraid I don’t have a video anymore as it was some time ago but I do have a screenshot of us in the Compiler room clearly showing I was a Vandal. Would this suffice?
