Problem with processor loading and its rapid heating
Hello Marathon Team,
I would like to report what appears to be a serious CPU-related issue in Marathon.
During gameplay, my processor reaches extremely high temperatures. In my case, the CPU Package temperature climbed to nearly 100°C, and on several occasions my PC shut down completely due to the load. This behavior occurs specifically in Marathon and not in other demanding games on my system.
I have also found multiple reports from other players with different processors experiencing similar CPU temperature spikes and unexpected shutdowns while playing Marathon. This suggests there may be an optimization issue or a bug causing excessive CPU usage.
My request is to please investigate this issue and improve CPU optimization in future updates. If there is a bug causing abnormally high processor load, I hope it can be fixed, as it may negatively affect many players. I also want to note that this doesn't happen in other games.
Thank you for your time and for your work on the game.

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with overheating.
To start out, we'd recommend trying to verify the game file integrity through steam to see if it helps. If the issue persists, please ensure that all of your drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all fully up-to-date.
If you still run into the same issue despite all of this, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over on PasteBin and provide us with the link.
Can you also let us know:
