booted from run with 1 minute left

I was booted from my run with the sponsored purple gear set on outpost and was booted with one minute left.... expected to have my gear at least returned to me and instead was met with an eliminated screen when I logged in without issue. Spent the whole round and had no problems and i lose everything?
