Opened Processing Armory, another player's Run/Hide 6/6 triggered (and killed me).
- Bungie Account Name - biocrystalluminescence#3192.
- Platform - Steam.
- Description of Issue - I went outpost solo with a non-priority contract, opened processing armory, and got unexpectedly locked in and jumped by a bunch of bots. Contracts should not trigger from and randomly punish other players doing normal map activities.
- Rough Date and Time of issue - June 20, 2026, at around 9:50 PDT.
- Repro steps - Presumably, open processing armory while an enemy player has Run/Hide 6/6.
Full detail: I intend to queue into outpost team fill, with a contract that is decidedly *not* Run/Hide 6/6. The game puts me in solo because I forgot to check for the ui bug that resets your queue. I open processing armory. I find a misriah in the strongbox! A few normal bots come in, which isn't too unusual. I notice red forcefields had appeared at some point, covering exits. Then like 7 bots including a shielder and a commander come up into the armory room. I get downed, because I was not expecting to fight that. The forcefields eventually disappear, not sure because of time or another player used a panel. I crawl outside the building, away from the bots, and try to use a depleted self-rez. Another player shows up and finishes me.
If Run/Hide 6/6 requires opening armory, and an enemy team opens it, the contract should fail and not trigger. If the contract requires entering armory, then it should only trigger when the contract holder enters the room. Alternately, it could trigger only when the contract holder interacts with the terminal.
