Cannot click Nucal "upgrades available" in faction upgrades

Having the exact same issue on XBOX. With Sekiguchi along with NuCal
i have this issue too sekgen and nucal - i am VIP on both but the ugrade nodes are locked.//./ I have 35 replicator and cannot purple shield them. Please help
I have the same issue on PS5
I just now encountered this issue with Nucal when I hit VIP rank 1. The third row down has three yellow "upgrade available" icons but I can't click anything. All three of these nodes that are lit up have already been unlocked at the first two levels. This is currently on the 3rd upgrade for these 3 nodes.
I figured it out. You have to unlock all capstones and then the VIP ones unlock also. Basically all upgrades on that faction need done then you can unlock those.
Here's what my NuCaloric screen looks like. If this is by design, then it needs a popup hint or something explain wtf is going on. Because at the top of the faction screen it says "Upgrade Available", but an upgrade is not available because the UI will not allow the upgrade to be activated for whatever unknown reason.
I love Marathon, but if this is by design, then it's a poor design.
Yeah a tooltip would be great. But yeah you need to unlock that last capstone and then you will see them.
