Settings reset upon login
My PC is low-end, so I try keep things low to get as much performance as possible. That's pretty hard to do, however, when every change I make is undone by the next time I load up the game.
This is particularly in reference to resolution, anti-aliasing, and render resolution, which reset every time I close and reopen the game.

I'm sorry to hear your graphics settings are resetting after you relaunch Marathon.
Please try these steps:
Avoid using Detect Settings after making manual changes, as it can reapply recommended settings for your hardware.
Test with a simpler setup first:
use your monitor's native resolution
set Anti-Aliasing to Off or CMAA
disable Dynamic Resolution Scaling if possible
leave Render Resolution at 100%
Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.
If your PC has both integrated and dedicated graphics, make sure Marathon is running on the dedicated GPU.
If your PC is lower-end, try low settings at 1080p.
