Contract Items do not appear in inventory until you hover over them

I was running Unsanctioned Hostilities 3/5 on dire marsh just now and completed the initial part of the contract. My shell was producing the emp bubbles behind me and successfully had the samples in my inventory. However when i arrived at the dcon to deposit them I didn't see them at all, and almost began walking back worried i did something wrong.

As it turns out the samples were in my inventory but appeared as a block box with no image unless you hovered over them. Thankfully i caught this however its easy to see how someone might not realise and the trail of emp bubbles make it hard to stop and take stock of the situation, and single you out to other runners so much time is of the essence.
