Marathon - Free Trail
Hey Good Evening.
I played the free trial over the weekend and decided to buy the game after a few hours of playing. Loved it. When purchasing. The deluxe version said base game plus the bundle of cosmetics for $14.99. the standard version of the game was on sale for $28.99. so why wouldn't I buy the deluxe version? So I bought it thinking im good to go. But as the trial ended today. The game will not log me in as it says game play is over. So when I click over to the deluxe version to play it. I can't download it nor click on it. I can't play it at all. When I go the standard version I have to pay. So I am currently unable to play. I tried to restore my license and they didn't work. Restarted everything and same thing. This is on a PS5. Any help would be appreciated. If I have to buy the base game then I understand.

There was a recent announcement regarding purchases of the Deluxe Edition at a mitigated price.

When did you buy the deluxe edition? If it was after June 5th then I think you would have to buy the base game. On June 5th, they added a disclaimer to the description that the Deluxe Edition was only the Deluxe upgrade and did not include the base game.
If you purchased it prior to when they added the disclaimer on June 5th, they released a statement that they would honor the purchase and give you the base game at no additional cost.
I also bought the Deluxe Edition because it stated that it included the base game, and I'm currently waiting to receive it or for an update. The last thing that the Marathon Dev Team posted was 6 days ago, and they said they would have more info soon on how and when they would be getting the base game to the people who purchased before the additional info was posted in the description on the PS store.
Yeah that would make sense. I don't recall the disclaimer but I'm sure I overlooked it. I purchased it on the 7th at like midnight. But thanks for the help and quick advice.ill just buy the base game and call it a day.
Bungie Support Is there an expected timeline of when those details will be available? Would love to keep playing the game as I am currently unable to.
