Game still can't get past 'signing in' screen
[Reposted since I think the last one bugged out]
I made a post about this yesterday, under which, I was told to inform Bungie should the issue persist, which it certainly has.
My device doesn't use an Intel Ultra CPU, nor do I employ any third party apps while games are running, so the issue can't stem from those.
Here is some more information:
Exact time and nature of the crash - consistently cuts to a black screen before crashing to desktop once the 'verifying content' and 'checking disk space' sequence is complete.
Occasionally, (maybe one in twenty-five or so) the game will successfully load, allowing me to complete a run (proving that the hardware is fully capable of supporting the game). This usually ends however, with another crash to desktop at the 'run complete' screen (an issue that many others have also reported).
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9300H CPU @ 2.40GHz
GPU - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
8 GB RAM
I have already ensured that Windows, my drivers, and my BIOS are up to date, I have uninstalled and re-installed Marathon multiple times, I have restarted the Steam launcher and cleared the download cache, and fully restarted my computer more times than I should probably admit.
Again, I need to reiterate that this was NOT a problem in season 1. My device carried me through ALL of the content in the game including every priority contract, Cryo vault and even a 6-man compiler kill with only minor hiccups here and there. This issue has, however, been incredibly detrimental and persistent since the launch of S2.

(also, from the previous post, none of the network troubleshooting tips are applicable unfortunately)
I hope this is useful in helping Bungie remedy the issue for everyone experiencing it.
