Community Feedback + Problems + Solutions

Hello, As you may be aware, there has been some community feedback about the loading wait times for players when queuing into a run. The main problem isn’t the amount of players. I’ve timed multiple waits and it’s not that bad in my opinion, I live in rural Australia, I imagine it’s better in other places. The problem is, there is nothing to distract the player from the wait time. Looking at an artistic screen makes time feel slower compared to being in game. If you could implement a temporary lobby with a small map or two, that is just a free for all deathmatch, or a firing range (please) to que into while waiting for matches. I know for a fact that’d eliminate most complaints. A firing range is just a nice touch, because being able to test my attachments before going into a run to see if I prefer the performance of some combinations versus others, before risking my loudout, sounds good to me. Already looking forward to season 3. Also, small friction point, sometimes players get frustrated waiting for other players, to select certain things, organize the vault, etc. Some just “want to get in the game already”. Viewing the missions, codex, challenges at the loading screen is nice, but being able to change them at the loading screen would save a little time, and distract from the wait time, and save impatient players some misery. I also even just sometimes forget to select missions. It’d be convenient, and people love convenience. I’ve loved this game from since the beta. I don’t have much time from work to play as much as I’d want (I took days off work when this released, and played almost nonstop). Changes made in season 2 are absolutely amazing. I can see the vision, I strongly believe if you continue your current trend of improvements and creativity with this game, it’s going to become one of the titans. I can see it already. Thank you.
