Request for a Permanent Duo Mode
Hello Bungie team,
It is necessary to once again bring up something the community has been asking for a long time: a permanent duo mode across all maps.
It makes no sense for it to remain temporary or limited. Many players want to play consistently as a duo without depending on rotations or systems that are not designed for this playstyle. This directly affects the gameplay experience and makes matchmaking inconsistent for duo players.
To be clear: there are players like me who stop playing the game when this mode doesn’t exist, because it simply doesn’t offer a comfortable or consistent way to play as a duo. Ignoring this only means continuing to lose part of the player base.
It is also important to remember that in Europe many different languages are spoken, not just English. When you are matched with a random player who doesn’t speak your language, or you don’t understand theirs, communication within the squad breaks down and the overall experience becomes noticeably worse. A duo mode would help avoid much of this issue and make matches far more consistent.
We are asking for this feedback to be taken seriously and for a permanent implementation as soon as possible.
