Lose another customer

Congratulations Bungie.

I have been banned from both Discord and Reddit for even daring to criticize your game - in 30+ years of internet I've never been banned once from any online platform, but apparently I am considered "too toxic" for Bungie's standards.

Having an official channel where you conduct your ARG and LFG tools but then banning people from accessing it just because they don't share your positive view for the state of the game, like you're having millions of concurrent players to be banning people left and right - its the main core symptom why this game will never go anywhere.

You completely alienate your community and can not have a dime of self-reflection on what you did wrong without excluding your community out of it.

I will never be able to access the official ARG or LFG again, for sharing an opinion. That's fine.

This was my first Bungie title, I even had bought the Deluxe Edition. I am not even going to bother appealing, I only came here to tell you that this is how you lose a customer, quicker than Amazon lost in New World.

Everyone that's going to be left playing this will be a circlejerk - and I guess that's already reflected in the player count.

    If you believe you were unfairly banned on Discord, you can submit an appeal request via https://appeal.gg/marathonthegame. However, please note there is no guarantee you will receive a response, especially if your ban will be upheld. 

    Additionally, these Help Forums cannot assist with ban appeals. Once you've submitted a request, you'll have done all you can, and will need to wait for a response. If several weeks pass with no reply, you can safely assume your ban will remain in place.

    Just the simple fact that "there is no guarantee you will receive a response" is already an insane thing to tell a customer who spent $70 USD on your product.

    Never have I ever, in any business I have worked on, would even dare a telling a customer "Thanks for buying my product, but now that I have your money I'm not going to guarantee you even a response - just wait a couple of weeks or some shit - maybe some unpaid volunteer will even bother checking it some day. Who knows, me as the seller couldn't really care less."

    The way you treat you customers is insane. Had I known this before hand, I would have chargedback my purchase.
