BUG REPORT - Vault 06 Subroutine Didn't Spawn

Hi there,

The other night, myself (Bruhegg#6526, if my Bungie name is required) and the squad were doing some Cryo runs, and we decided to use our Vault 06 key. We got lucky and were able to loot the vault, but noticed the subroutine to be missing. Like, it just wasn't there. It was so hectic and we were out of time so I didn't think to take a screenshot, but I took a look at a YouTube video of someone unlocking Vault 06 and the subroutine straight-up wasn't where it was supposed to be. 

I saw some other people reporting that this was an issue, and heard some chatter in the replies about this being fixed in an update soon, but that was a few weeks ago. I also think that there's potentially another explanation for what happened, if it's helpful to report.

I play Vandal, and my teammate noticed a Hazard Capsule was glitched into the geometry of the vault (it was stuck in the floor). This is also a pretty frustrating bug. I used Vandal's cannon to dislodge the item, and perhaps this jettisoned the subroutine? I noticed that the loot room in Vault 06 is built on this like suspended bridge-like structure, and there's an inaccessible area beneath it which items can fall into. Maybe the subroutine was somehow knocked off its spawnpoint and into the void? I noticed that you can't use Vandal's cannon to manipulate other priority items like Security Tags, so maybe this was not the case.

It goes without saying, but this bug is a really big issue. My team and I have around 250 hours each in the game, and are dedicated players who really want to fight Compiler. Despite our playtime, and our many red room runs on Outpost, we've only ever snagged one Vault 06 key. We have no idea when or if we'll get another key - let alone, run the vault successfully and extract with the subroutine. It's uniquely frustrating to execute this incredibly difficult feat so well, only to have the game itself shortchange us of the extremely rare, valuable, and important item we need to fight the Compiler. If there's any recourse we can take, we would all really appreciate it. We got the codex achievement for running all 6 Vaults, but alas, no Subroutine to fight the Compiler with.

(Also, I feel like if you have run all 6 vaults, you should just be granted the ability to fight Compiler, seeing as we're not the only team to have encountered this issue, and a bug forcing you to painfully re-grind for an extremely rare 1% drop item feels unfair!)
