Runner automatically picking up items without a button press

Description of Issue - I've recently noticed my runner start to pick up items as soon as I hover over them, without a button press. I thought maybe it was an auto-loot setting, or a perk, or upgrade, but I can't find evidence that it is. It's inconsistent when it happens; one run I was only automatically picking up ammo crates, and then another I would pick up various consumables like grenades or shield patches. I've been seeing it in the Perimeter (beginner) location, though I haven't tried others. I switched from an xbox controller to a PS5 controller this morning due to stick drift, so I thought maybe something on my PS5 controller was stuck pressing square, but I didn't see any behavior that would indicate this (doors opening and closing when I'm too close, or the like.)
Rough Date and Time of issue 05-02-2026, approx. 12 PM to 1 PM CST.
Repro steps - Unknown; I don't think this was happening when I played the game yesterday. It just started today. I can't seem to find anything that triggers it or shuts it off.

I am still half-convinced this is some intentional effect and I'm just too new to understand where it's coming from, in which case I would love to know where to look to find it.
