Dire Marsh Sponsored duos not working
was there some change made to Dire Marsh Sponsored? My teammate and i had no problems launching into duos once the mode was introduced, but now we only get put in to trios games.

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out.
Sponsored Dire Marsh is set up for 2–3-player crews (no solos, no Rook), and it uses the same matchmaking rules as standard Dire Marsh. That means you can still play as a duo, but only if Crew Fill is turned off before you launch. If Crew Fill is on, the game will try to add a third runner to your crew, so you’ll end up in trios even when you queue as two.
If you’re already disabling Crew Fill and still getting forced into a three player crews, please share:

Hey I'm getting this too. We crew fill off, load in as a duo but then get matchmade against trios:

In the video you can see we load in as duos, loot a bit, then run to Algae Ponds. I hear someone above us, my duo hits their scan and we find a team of three.

Hi there,
Thanks for sharing that video.
In Dire Marsh: Sponsored, the playlist itself is configured as a trios activity, not a dedicated duos activity. You are able to queue as a duo with Crew Fill turned off, but your duo is still placed into the same playlist as other 2 or 3 player crews. That means you’ll sometimes run into full 3‑player teams even when you load in as a Duo.
The earlier Dire Marsh Duos playlist was a separate experimental queue that was explicitly duos vs duos only. Sponsored Dire Marsh is different. It is focused on putting everyone into the same level‑playing‑field gear environment, not separating duos and trios into different matches.
