Cannot add friends.

Since the game released I have not been able too add any friends and it is severely hurting my experience in Marathon. I can receive the friend request, but when I accept it, it doesn't actually process. They will not appear on my friends list, but the friend request will remain.

    Hi there,

    Please try the steps below:

    • Sign in to Bungie.net in a web browser.
    • Open your Bungie Friends list and remove a few Bungie friends to make sure you have open space. Bungie Friends are shared across Marathon and Destiny, and the list can cap at 200.
    • While you're there, check whether you have any outgoing Bungie friend requests still pending.
    • After that, try accepting the friend request again on Bungie.net first, then check Marathon.

    If it still does not work after making space, please send us:

    • A short video showing the failed accept in Marathon
    • A screenshot or video of your Bungie Friends page on Bungie.net
    • Confirmation whether the same issue also happens in Destiny 2, if you have access to it

    Please use your platform's capture button to take a video. If you already have a video, you can upload the footage to a public video hosting site, like YouTube, then post the link here and we’ll be glad to take a look.
