Can't talk in voice, but can hear all others

Voice comms were working for the first week or 2 of my Marathon experience. They suddenly stopped. It just seems that Marathon itself is not activating it's own ability to transfer my mic inputs. My microphone works in EVERY other aspect on my computer. Marathon is detected as using the mic. Push to talk doesn't work. Open mic doesn't work. When I verified my age and linked my Bungie and Steam accounts, i was able to talk for 1 game. Then it stopped working again. I know all of my connections are correct and working. I've been gaming on PC for over 25 years. Please don't give me the run around asking if i've exhausted all attempts and resources because I have. I'm just letting you know that this is clearly a bug and no one should have to jump through this many hoops to get a main function of a game working. I've never had an issue like this in any other online game I've ever played. I'm not asking for a troubleshoot. I've done all that. I'm letting you know of my disappointment and hopefully you can find a patch to actually fix it.

    We understand your mic hasn't been working in Marathon. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the impact that this may have had. If the steps in our Audio & Voice Troubleshooting guide haven't helped to address this, then this does seem strange to us. Under such circumstances, please reply with the following details and we'll investigate:

    • Did it seem as though specific actions triggered this issue with the mic? If yes, please outline those actions for us.
    • The model of mic you are using.
    • A linked videoclip demonstrating the game detects the mic but doesn't work. A site like Youtube would be ideal for this.
