GAME BREAKING BUG on PC: Pressing Shift causes full input lock (movement + interactions + respawn broken).

Description of Issue BUG - Pressing shift, CTRL, or caps lock completely stops movement. Cant move after that. Can't interact with Tads, loot boxes. Can't hold g in DBNO to give up. Can't press spacebar after full death screen to continue to next game. Essentially can't do any hold down interact key processes.
Rough Date and Time of Issue: Started around 04/10/2026
Attempted ways of fixing (Still didn't resolve issue)- Restarted game, restarted computer, verified game files, uninstalled and reinstalled game, repaired windows, uninstalled and reinstalled windows, rebinding sprint, unbinding spring, checked sticky keys, disable steam overlay, disable discord overlay.

Thanks for the report! We'll keep an eye out for similar reports of this. In the meantime, if you're able to try another keyboard or try using the virtual keyboard to press shift, this should help narrow down whether this is a potential hardware issue.
Tried with virtual keyboard and bug still persists.
Thanks for the update. We're investigating a bug where if users press or hold shift when loading into a run, they may become stuck. Does this still happen to you if you allow your character to fully load in before moving/pressing shift?
Yes. I can load in without pressing any buttons, wait 10 seconds after loading in and still it occurs. Notably if I dont touch shift, CTRL, or caps lock I can walk in any direction normally. However, once one of those buttons is pressed the character movement instantly stops then movement from there becomes nearly locked.
