My legal surname appears a Redacted#
I have since 2004 used my family surname as my Steam account name, and used it across all other online games.
But Marathon, and now my bungie profile, refuse to accept it, an just list me as Redacted.
How do I contact whom ever manages this filter?
I'm a bit offended that my actual family name is not allowed.

If your name was changed for you, this means it was in violation of the Code of Conduct. Bungie does not provide details as to why specific names are actioned.
If you have name changes remaining, you can use them to change your name, provided the new name passes inspection from the name filter and you are not attempting to go back to a previously actioned name. Otherwise, you'll unfortunately be stuck with the name you currently have; Bungie does not process custom name changes on players' behalf.
If you'd like to appeal your name change, please visit our Appeal Ban or Restriction Contact Form and make sure to select the reason for the appeal is because your Bungie Name was changed.
