Game keeps crashing and shutting off my PlayStation

I’m sure other people have been having this issue but everytime I’m trying to play the game will just cause my ps5 to completely shut off I’ve redownloaded multiple times I’ve cleared my cache nothing works and it’s only marathon doing that please fix this I genuinely can’t play the game and I been itching to play

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the report.

    We understand that you are experiencing frequent crashes in Marathon. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine the impact that this crashing may have had. If you are still experiencing crashing, can you please try the following:

    • Completely power down your PS5 (not rest mode), wait ~30 seconds, then start it back up.
    • Check for and install any system updates (PS5 system software)
    • On PS5, you can also try Rebuilding the Database by going into Safe Mode → Rebuild Database.
    • Reinstall Marathon and Clear your console's cache (Please check this guide.)

    Also, please make sure your console has good ventilation. Overheating can trigger safety shutdowns that look like random crashes.

    If you continue to experience this crashing after the above suggestions, then please let us know if you're seeing any error codes when it occurs, and we'll review.
