Possible Issue Regarding Redacted Vidmaster Challenge

There's a solid chance this is not a bug, but in that small chance that it is I figured it wouldn't hurt to make a post.  For the Vidmaster title there is a redacted challenge that when completed is titled (Technically spoilers ahead!) "Beyond The Crimson Veil," which specifically states for the objective: "Plunder a craft at the end of a nightmare."  I assume this means to loot the Biotoxic Disinjector and exfil with it after killing the Compiler, but I have done exactly that and did not get this unlocked.  Since the description is so vague and there aren't other specifics mentioned to completing it, I assume there might be something I am missing towards getting this unlocked, however there is still the chance this is a bug.  If it helps, I have all Cryo Archive map challenges done for exploration and collectibles but not for the sixth subroutine.  If needed as well I can also provide video of me getting the compiler clear with a team, myself looting the ganglion and the Biotoxic Disinjector and successful getting to exfil with both.

    Thanks for the detailed report and for offering to provide video.

    To look into this further, could you share a bit more info about the run where you expected Beyond the Crimson Veil to complete?

    • Platform you were playing on (Steam / PlayStation / Xbox / Epic)
    • Were you solo or in a crew? 

    • In this specific run, can you confirm that you:
    1. Killed the Compiler
    2. Picked up the Biotoxic Disinjector and never dropped or swapped it before exfil
    3. Did you die after picking it up? If so, were you rebooted before exfil?
    4. Did you make it to a normal exfil (not a wipe → reboot → evac, and no disconnects or host migrations)?

    • A screenshot of your Vidmaster title screen showing:
      • Beyond the Crimson Veil still locked
      • Your overall Vidmaster challenge progress
    • If you have them, screenshots from before and after the bugged run
    • A clip that covers Compiler death → you looting the ganglion/Disinjector → reaching exfil, with HUD visible
    • If possible, briefly show the Vidmaster page or challenge tracker in the same session


    • Approximate date and time of the run (with your time zone)
    • Any error messages, disconnects, host migrations, or unusual behavior you noticed

    1.  I was playing Steam

    2.  I was in an crew I found through the LFC channels in the Marathon Discord

    3.  We did indeed kill the compiler. 

    4.  I picked up the Biotoxic Disinjector, never swapped it or dropped it before exfil.  

    5.  I did not die after picking it up, I was not rebooted before exfil.  

    6.  We made it to the exfil that is located after the Compiler arena.  We did not wipe, get rebooted, or have disconnects or host migrations.  

    7.  Attached will be my Vidmaster title progress and the Beyond the Crimson Veil challenge still redacted, taken at 3:49pm EST today.  
    8.  I do not have screenshots from before the run, but it looked the same as the picture attached.  
    9.  The video attached will be the Compiler kill, Ganglion and Biotoxic Disinjector looted and in my inventory, and successful exfil.  
    10.  There is no way to show the Vidmaster page in run or to track the challenges in run so this is not available.  
    11.  The time this was completed was sometime between April 3 11:30pm EST and April 4 12:30am EST.  
    12.  No error messages, disconnects, or host migrations but the only strange behavior experienced was just some stutters and freezes during the boss fight, which occur only for a brief moment and is not included in my video.
