The mouse cursor position affects the zoom of the weapon model in the stash

Based on observations from my own inventory, this issue appears to occur only with weapons that occupy 8 slots. The reproduction difficulty should be low, as the issue can likely be reproduced as long as there are several 8-slot weapons in the inventory. It is currently unknown whether the same issue can also occur in-match.

    Could you provide a few more details to add to your report?

    • Your Platform
    • The approximate date and time of when this first happened
    • Does it happen only on 8-slot weapons, or also with other sized weapons?
    • Does it happen in both Stash and Backpack, or only one?
    • Does it happen in match inventory?
    • A short video showing the cursor moving across a large weapon while the preview zoom changes

    Hi, thanks for the follow-up.

    Here are the additional details:

    • Platform: Steam
    • Approximate date/time first noticed: Around 5:30 AM (US West / Pacific Time) on April 2
    • Does it happen only on 8-slot weapons? After some more testing, I found that it does not only happen with 8-slot weapons themselves. I was also able to trigger the bug by equipping a 4-slot weapon into the backpack. So it may be related to the backpack weapon slot size also being 8 slots, rather than being limited strictly to 8-slot weapons.
    • I still only have about 4–5 weapons available for testing, so the sample size is small and I can’t fully confirm the exact cause yet.

    Based on my current testing, the bug may be tied to 8-slot backpack weapon slots rather than only to 8-slot weapons themselves.
