shooting a thief drone crashed my game
I had a thief drone circling me and when I shot it my game crashed. Another one of my teammates also crashed to the same issue. We did not lose the game but we lost our key room loot to a bug like that.

I had the same issue, I was in a Trio with him and we both shot the same drone and it crashed both of us.
It happened like 15 min ago today on the map Dire Marsh we were at Greenhouse on top of the building that can look onto the door of Greenhouse lab key and intersection.
I just had an interaction in Dire Marsh, a thief drone flew into the building i was in and i shot at it and it crashed my game to desktop
This just happened to me on Perimeter, a thief drone flew into view and a teammate and I both shot it and we both crashed to desktop (PC). Lost an entire kit, what a stupid bug.
Bungie, I just lost my Gold bully, and because of this crash. On steam. I have video evidence of me and Archi (poster above me) crashing, and he dies because we are forced to watch a stupid un-skippable playstation logo play for 20 seconds, he dies while loading back in.
I load back in, and now they have better positioning on me when we had the jump. Second team showed up and we were F(#ked....
Im serious.... I've stood up for this game since before release, but if I dont get my loadout in the mailbox I wont suggest anyone play this game.
This is demoralizing as hell. Its not like I got outplayed or lost it in a fair fight. Its cause your game crashed.

It stops recording as soon as it crashes, im using steam record when im pkaying the game. When the game is closed it stops recording. If this helps, it happened around 1700 EST.

That is also the same game that Archi lost all his kit and subsequently player name Godrardo#8231 (our third) lost all his stuff because of the unfolding events.
Please get us our kit back.

Support is unable to restore any lost loot, and any refunds that can be offered are handled automatically by the game systems, not manually through support.
Not being able to refund loot is not on...
Its BS actually.
I really appreciate that you are looking into it to fix it for future gameplay and integrity of the game. But we had the jump and better positioning, we looted a key room, and we lost all that including all our good kit.
Refunding loot shouldnt even be a question should just be automatic.
Please.
