My son(12 year old) cannot communicate via voice or text even with permissions

I linked my account to his... gave him all the permissions necessary but still nothing. We can't hear him nor us he. I read a post saying to unlink and relink... when relinking, kws does its thing and it sends my right back to the permissions page where I can click accept again. I've done that 13 times. I know that because KWS has sent an email each time stating that everything is good to go.

    Young players (aged under 13, or their country’s age of digital consent) will need to link their account with a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult’s account in order to access certain features, such as joining text or voice chat. The parent, guardian or other responsible adult needs to have a Bungie.net account and verify that they are an adult.

  • I have the same issue, not as many confirmations but have done it multiple times. Still nothing. If you figure it out please post the fix here

  • Yes. I linked their account to mine and I gave them the permissions. Is this a bot response that crawls the forums and pastes this? This response is seen everywhere but if you read... I DID do that. We are past that. The platform he is on is steam and has no issues with other games.

  • After trying to unlink and relink... this button sends me to the kws site to verify... which it does. And it sends me back to this accept button. KWS sends me an email saying it went through successfully but that does not seem to be the case.

  • Im having the same issue. Its been weeks. This is why Bungie has a hard time winning back all the good will they've burned over the last few years. Having us jump through all the hoops to verify our age and link accounts means you need to hold up your end of the bargain once its done. Either that or refund me for my sons copy of the game.

  • I work IT... their ticketing queue probably has a 24 hour response SLA(service level agreement)... so they probably just responded with their copy/pasta template and that satisfied their system.

    Bungie this is not the way.

    If you have to dig into it further, communicate that. But assuming your customers haven't done their due diligence(which even in the og post you can see that I did) and then not responding further is just frustrating. We feel ignored and inconsequential.
