Exfil failed mid extraction animation

Platform: PSN
Was on Perimeter at Overflow. Final exfil had activated but was already at an active exfil. Ring indicator was working. Final exfil countdown was active. Made the decision to ensure exfil over looting a kill I made to take the exfil. Timer ran down to zero while actively in exfil waiting for extraction. Extraction animation plays but at the end my character reappeared out of the animation dead from timeout.
Normally I’d laugh something like this off but I had some materials on me that I needed. I can only imagine the response this would cause from a new player or someone unsure if the game is for them.

Hi there,
Thanks for the report! Please ensure you have more than 10 seconds remaining on the match timer before starting the exfil, otherwise players will be eliminated at the end of the exfil timer.

That response from Bungie Support is misleading. If Bungie Support played the game as much as I have then Bungie Support will know that regardless of the match time before the Final Exfil you can exfil at any one of the many active exfils. Although rare, sometimes these exfils do bug out, killing the whole team while other players left in the match are free to race to the final exfil and extract. I’d ignore this particular response from Bungie Support and take a moment to read an abundance of similar complaints from other players where an actual Bungie Support responds appropriately knowing this is a known issue that will be resolved as soon as possible.
