I never set my ID. When I entered the game during the beta test, it automatically assigned me a random ID. How can I change it?

When I was in the beta test, I thought it was an official random ID assignment, so I didn't pay much attention. Later, I found out that my friends could set their own IDs, but I couldn't, and I have no way to change it. What should I do? I have now purchased the official version, but my ID is still the one from the beta test.

Thanks for reaching out!

All players have a name change token that allows them to change their Bungie name once. As long as you have a name change token available, you can change your username using the steps below:

Log in to Bungie.net with a platform account
Go to Profile Settings
Update the Bungie Name under "Identity Settings"
Press the "Save" button

Unfortunately, if you don't have a name change token it won't be possible to update the username.
