Problems with cross-platform friend requests

is having problems with both receiving and sending bungie invites through marathon and on the website. Me and my friend have been trying to send him multiple friend requests and team invites to which he receives none of the notifications for. He has also attempted to try to send me and my friend both friend and crew invites but the options for him are greyed out. We've tried troubleshooting this with how his profiles are linked as well as ps5 settings b8t to no avail. I believe it might be a problem with his side of things but I'm hoping that there is a way that we could just be made to be friends and be able to send each other crew invites.

Another note is that I can send him invitations but they're just stuck pending forever, same with friend invites.
This is also my view of his profile, unable to join him and a pending friend request. I've also tried repeatedly to friend him on externals like steam, playstation, and on the bungie website.
I am also having the same issue. I’m on PlayStation 5 but for some reason my friends on PC can’t accept my friend requests, and it’s stuck on the “request sent option.”
