    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Per our Broccoli error page

BROCCOLI errors indicate there has been an issue detecting the player's GPU and are commonly caused by a driver crash.

To attempt to mitigate this error, players should always ensure that their Operating System and Graphic Drivers are up-to-date with the latest version.

If updating your OS, drivers, and all other software does not help the situation, we can only recommend trying previous versions, provided you are comfortable doing so.

  • This exact thing has been happening to me with a 5900x + 3090ti on X570, 64GB DDR4 RAM. & lowering graphics settings helps but in reality I don't get more performance out of it/not sure if something is bugged. I'm constantly crashing with error code broccoli & this never happened to me on Destiny 2/despite broccoli being common in old forum posts. I've used been testing drivers unsuccessfully up from 577.00 till the most recent 2nd hotfix that released yesterday/596.02. I can't keep DDU & reinstalling when it's clear it's likely the game itself. Sometimes the crash even happens during the boot up of the games for SIE/Bungie logos & it takes forever to attempt reconnects. Game is great, hoping for a fix/too risky to keep playing when I'm literally trying to protect my loot & instead becoming a sitting duck.
