Map and inventory won't open while holding down Ctrl/Shift

If you hold down Ctrl or Shift, you can't open the inventory or the map. So if you have crouch set on hold, you have to uncrouch first in order to open the map or your inventory, which is obviously very annoying and disturbing during gameplay. Other key combinations with Ctrl and Shift work fine, the issue is only applicable for the map and inventory (at least when they are bound to M and Tab respectively).
Another inconvenient thing is that you can't remove key binds. So if you want to change, "crouch on toggle" to "crouch on hold", you have to set Crouch (hold) bind to Ctrl and then change Crouch (toggle) to a random key you never use. Would be obviously more straight forward if you could just remove the Crouch (toggle) key bind completely and set Crouch (hold) to Ctrl.
