Thief V X-Ray ability FPS lag when used on players

When the X-Ray visor for Thief is used on players, it causes the screen to freeze.

This has happened multiple times for me.

    Hi there,

    Thank you for the report. 

    We are aware of this issue and are investigating to resolve this as soon as possible.

    In the meantime, you can try the following workarounds:

    • Lower effects or shadow quality and overall graphics settings.
    • Avoid spamming X-Ray while in big fights

    This is happening with all AMD GPUs since update 1.0.5.1
    Makes thief unplayable
    Also, there is no such setting as effect quality
