Fullscreen 3840x2560 not supported?

I can't seem to get the game to work fullscreen in my native 3820x2560 it only shows 3820x1600 and it gives me a gap at the bottom of the screen and I end up seeing the desktop. Any ideas?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Marathon doesn’t fully support 3840×2560 (3:2) as a true Fullscreen resolution right now. When you pick Fullscreen, it will render at the closest supported resolution (like 3840×1600), which leaves that gap at the bottom where you can see the desktop.

A few workarounds you can try:

    1. Use a 16:9 fullscreen resolution

      • In Windows, temporarily set your display to 3840×2160 or 2560×1440.
      • In Marathon, set Display Mode to Fullscreen and pick that same resolution.
      • You’ll probably get black bars, but it should stop showing the desktop at the bottom.
    2. Use borderless / windowed instead

      • In Settings → Video, change Display Mode to Windowed Fullscreen (or Windowed) and set it to 3840×2560.
      • Maximize the window so Windows handles the letterboxing instead of exposing the desktop.
    3. Hide the Windows taskbar

      • Turn on auto-hide taskbar in Windows so, if there is still a small gap, the taskbar doesn’t pop over the game.
