Disconnected due to inactivity - in the middle of a fight!

Description: On Perimeter I was in the middle of a fight having been chasing a team down when I disconnected and was told I had been signed out due to inactivity. When I signed back in I was given the option to rejoin, or abandon and lose all my gear. When I rejoined I was obviously dead, one teammate was also gone (persumably because of the same issue) and I watched the last one die immediately and the match was over.
I can't show footage because the game signed me out and the record function only works for the signed in session, but I have a screenshow of the crew I was with if that helps.
