Twitch account unlinking problem - missing drops.

I have been having issues receiving twitch drops due to a slight problem on twitch's end.
I was somehow allowed / enabled to claim Twitch drops for my bungie account DESPITE it being a broken link?
Very confusing but I'll try to explain as best as I can.
I linked my current twitch account to my bungie account assuming that it was just going to work fine and it sort of did(?)
I noticed however that after over 20 days I still haven't received any twitch drops in-game which was really strange, but I was able to claim the drops and it even said underneath that my Bungie account was linked.
I then look at my linked accounts on Bungie and it turns out that the Twitch username that was linked on here was actually from a different twitch account under the exact same email address (sign-in with google moment).
I fixed this so now the accounts are properly linked but I'm really lost as to what on earth is going to happen to my drops that I haven't received?
What I'm wondering is if it's entirely possible to just re-send the drops that I have claimed, as it should have gone to my bungie account because - where the hell did it go when claimed then?
