Issues activating Prime Ability on Controller

Platform - Steam (using controller)

Description of issue: I play on Steam but use a gamepad. When using a controller and attempting to activate my prime ability (L1+R1) I either throw a grenade or activate my tactical ability instead of using Prime. Seems like only L1 or only R1 is registering and not both buttons together. Only sometimes does it correctly use the prime ability after repeated attempts and its mainly because I am out of equipment to use or my tactical is in cooldown. I have tried troubleshooting using a Xbox Elite controller, PS5 dualsense and an Astro controller and all are having similar issues. I have resorted to mapping one of my paddles to "Q" to get around this and just use the paddle assigned to Q on keyboard to activate Prime.

    Thank you for reaching out and for reporting this.

    Could you provide a few more details to add to your report?

    • Is Steam Input enabled and are any Steam controller layouts applied?
    • Are you using any in-game custom bindings?
    • Is your mapping Prime = L1+R1 / LB+RB, Neutral = L1 / LB, Tactical/Equipment = R1 / RB?
    • Does it only happen with all runners or specific shells?
    • Does it still happen if grenades or equipment are unbound or set to a different button? Prime is bound to a single button?
    • Short clip showing the HUD (Prime charged), the button press (controller overlay if possible), and the wrong ability firing instead.
