Game can't load

After the most recent update, my game simply can't load.

Once I get past the sign-in splash screen, the game falls to an indefinite black screen, leaving a system shutdown as the only way to exit the game. I know that other people are having similar issues, but my system features lower specs than others, so I hope that this doesn't exacerbate the issue.

I have an Intel i5 9th gen core and an Nvidia GPU for reference.

Edit: The game loaded, it seems like the black screen is just an immensely extended loading process that wasn't there prior to this update.

    Thank you very much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the game stability when trying to play the game.

    To start out, if you are on PC, we'd recommend trying to verify the game file integrity through steam to see if it helps. If the issue persists, please ensure that all of your drivers, windows, and your BIOS are all fully up-to-date. Lastly, if those two steps don't help, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

    If you still run into the same issue despite all of this, can you provide us with a copy of your DxDiag? You can copy and paste it over one PasteBin and provide us with the link.

    The fix I came up with yesterday was:
    Updating your BIOS (dont do any tuning apart xmp/expo) and Intel Management Engine. 
    After that I suggest also:
    Go to the location where your game is installed, for me its C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Marathon\battleye
    Right click on Uninstall_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> uninstall it
    Then
    Right click on Install_BattlEye -> Run as Administrator -> install it

    You can also just delete the insides of this folder and game/steam will redownload it back.

    If that doesnt work then I am out of ideas and this probably needs official fix.
