This is expected behavior and not a bug.
The purple icon is a purple (epic) Lockdown keycard used to start a purple Lockdown event.
Those keycards are consumable and can disappear once they’re used or the associated event is resolved or has failed, so they won’t always persist after death or if you self-revive or later in the run.
But this wasn’t an event key? I crafted this key from the armory with 4 Shell ID materials? In the description doesn’t say anything about losing it when you get down, only mention when you failed to exfil
